The 17-seater is the same vehicle stretched: a longer wheelbase, five more push-back seats and a noticeably larger luggage bay. It is the right call for a group of fourteen to seventeen on straight highway routes. It is the wrong call on hill roads and inside old-city lanes, where the extra length makes turns genuinely difficult — and we will tell you so rather than take the larger booking.

Seventeen passengers, yes. Seventeen large suitcases as well, no — that is what the roof carrier is for, and it is fitted free on request. For a week-long trip with heavy luggage, a mini bus with an under-floor bay is the better vehicle.
Yes, with dual blowers — one servicing the front rows and one the rear. In a longer body that second blower matters; a single-blower vehicle leaves the back three rows warm on a June afternoon.
